Recently I got to do something that I have always wanted to do… I got to clean the shark tank in an aquarium! It may sound bizarre, but for me it has always been on the bucket list. I’ve dived with sharks all over the world in the oceans, but have always fancied climbing in to a tank with one of the most misunderstood creatures on our beautiful planet.

Alex Thomson: The Stunt Man
Like many, the first I saw of Alex Thomson was his incredible mast walk. With adrenaline building music we saw the helm heel the boat right over, which was Alex’s cue to walk up the mast (wearing a classic Hugo Boss suit), before diving approx. 30 metres from the top of the mast in to the sea. He then went on to do various other publicity stunts for his key sponsor, Hugo Boss. Including the keel walk, and the Sky Walk. Watch the mast walk below…

I took my 5 year old daughter and my brothers family to the Southampton boat show for the day. It was awesome. For us the drive was about 3 hours or so. Long enough with 3 young excitable children in the car. When we got out the other end, we were most relieved.
