A while ago we made the decision to move Ruby May to a new home. Last week, the day finally came to slip lines at MDL Chatham Marina for the last time and head to our new base. It’s funny to be writing this in the deep mid-winter, but one of my New Year resolutions is to write more. I’ve been blogging for the last 7yrs, but have not always been able to share or blog as much as I would like, so this year, I will. And to kick that off, I’m going to bring you some of the wonderful trips, experiences and sailing adventures that I’ve had in the last couple of years but haven’t shared thus far!
In this blog, I’m going to share with you some memories of a fantastic family sailing holiday that we took last August, exploring some of the South Coast of the UK, including Salcombe, Hope Cove, Brighton, Dartmouth, and more.
With most of us more than happy to see the back of 2021, it’s finally time to say hello to 2022! After sending 2021 off in style on New Year’s Eve, Hodge and I took to the water on New Year’s Day for a fabulous sail to one of our favourite places to visit.
